2025 Mitsubishi Outlander Is Getting the Trail Treatment

2025 Mitsubishi Outlander

Mitsubishi is prepared to enter the market with the Outlander Trail Edition for 2025. Before going on sale later this year, the upgraded SUV was shown off during a special event in California.

Mitsubishi makes no reference to mechanical modifications. Although it was a pre-production model, the version we saw featured a set of BFGoodrich all-terrain tires. It is also uncertain if there are any other drive modes designed for off-road activities. Mitsubishi personnel did, however, inform us that it is intended for consumers who go on weekend excursions into the wilderness. Do anything you want with that.

What is the Trail Edition likely to bring? Basically, a lot of black trim. All of the chrome on the front clip is blackened out, and the door handles and mirrors are black. The wheel wells are outlined with bold black trim, and the bottoms of the doors are covered with black cladding. The hood features a large black stripe throughout the center and black Outlander accents on the sides. The chrome is darkened, but the window trim isn't black, the roof spoiler is black, and the prominent roof rails are black. It has 18-inch black wheels that are distinctive to the trim, and Mitsubishi adds unique Trail Edition badging.

Among the modest changes made to the 2025 Outlander series are a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen and a stylish new Yamaha-designed audio. We're currently driving it, and a thorough evaluation will be available soon.
